Operating Standard & Quality Systems
Under the firm’s policy and procedures and the practicing code or charter, we are required to provide our services in accordance with the prescribed legislation to which the Firm belongs and in compliance with International Auditing Standards (ISA), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other auditing and accounting principles and practices adopted and promulgated as best standards by The Institute Of Chartered Accountants Of Trinidad and Tobago (ICATT) and The Association Of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
These standards and legislation are augmented with best conventional practices and thinking and are constantly updated to reflect the true and dynamic nature of the consulting industry as it impacts upon the client and the stakeholders.
The firm has also adopted the International Standard on Quality Control (ISQC 1) which provides for an additional standard of quality and control for firms that perform audits and reviews of financial statements.
Our operating structure incorporates various levels of review and quality control procedures aimed at ensuring that our work is done in accordance with the prescribed standards and with the aim to meet and surpass our clients expectations.
